Routes 31, 25 to have lane closures

Lane closures will occur next week in two areas of road construction, Kane County Transportation officials said.
Route 31 at McLean Boulevard will be reduced to one lane from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. the week of Aug. 30, and continue for three to four days.
The same week, Route 25 between Hickory Lane and Gilbert Street will also be reduced to one lane from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for five to seven days.
In both closures, flagmen will control traffic.
